GUSTAVO GARCIA, ASSISTANT GREENHOUSE MANAGER & GROUNDS MANAGEMENT


Gustavo Garcia

Gustavo Garcia is an Assistant Greenhouse Manager and Grounds Manager. He is responsible for assisting in greenhouse operations and production to ensure seeding, harvesting and packaging schedules are met. He also assists in maintaining the hydroponic systems that grow our produce. Additionally, as grounds manager, he cares for the Outdoor Ag-Tech Facility. This includes systems cleaning and maintenance, equipment set-up and operations and assisting in leading San Andreas High School students when they are participating in production operations. 

Gustavo first started off as a student at San Andreas High School under The Growing Hope Pathway. When he turned 22 and aged out of the Program, he was offered an internship opportunity at Growing Hope Project through CityWay and Inland Regional Center to begin working for the same program where he first began his journey in professional development and work experience. At the end of his Internship, he was hired as a part-time employee, where he continues his work with The Growing Hope Program, its students and its staff.
